We offer expert music lessons in a wide variety of instruments from guitar and voice to piano, drums, and even banjo! Each lesson is taken once a week in 30 minute segments with a teacher in your own private lesson room. Lessons are given Monday through Saturday with flexible hours to fit into anyone's busy schedule!
Every one of our teachers are NYSSMA certified, active in the musical community, and experienced in their field. All lessons are $28.00 per half hour. Hour lessons are also available by request.
Joe
Joseph LoSchiavo has been playing the guitar for 42 years and has been playing professionally for 40 years. Joe has been the House Guitarist for The Gateway Playhouse for the past 18 years. Joe teaches beginner to professional level guitar lessons, and has been Family Melody Center's longest teacher for over 20 years.

Peter
Peter Hernandez has studied at SUNY Stony Brook. He is a freelance musician who is NYSMMA qualified. Peter teaches guitar bass, ukelele, early piano and the classical, jazz, rock, and bossa-nova genres. In addition to teaching, he plays at the Great South Bar in Patchogue and other local venues.

Rob
Rob Lauritsen teaches beginner to advanced of all ages and genres. He prepares each lesson individually. His lessons consist of NYSSMA qualified ear training, theory, scales and chord training. In addition, Rob gets students ready for professional performance and recording ability.

Greg March attended Five Towns College and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Administration. He has been teaching for 14 years. Greg is also an established musician with many professional bands that he tours the country with.
Natalia
Natalia Layne has attended Suffolk County Community College and Stony Brook. She is currently enrolled at Nassau. Natalia also happens to be NYSSMA qualified. She is happy to share her love of music with students of all ages.
